How long do the results last?
The appearance may change as swelling settles. Follow-up allows time to assess the result and any concerns. How long the effects last depends on the product and individual response. Your review also covers the following aspects of care

How to Prepare for the Procedure
Tell us about all medicines and supplements before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medicines without advice from your prescriber. Ask about alcohol, exercise, sun exposure and makeup before and after the procedure. What to Avoid

- Avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours; discuss medicines without stopping prescribed treatment
- Avoid dental work or facial massage for at least 2 weeks
- Apply ice packs to reduce swelling (wrap in a clean cloth to avoid direct contact with the skin)
- Stay hydrated

DISSOLVING FILLER CARE
Your consultation covers concerns about existing filler and the options for further care. We explain what dissolving filler involves, including discomfort, risks and aftercare:

- Allergy assessment – your history of reactions and any need for testing, as decided by Dr Kamila
- Treatment – an explanation of the proposed injections and consent before the procedure begins

Post-Treatment Recommendations
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, sunbeds and excessive heat for 7 days
- Avoid alcohol for 3 days; do not stop medicines without prescriber advice
- Maintain good hygiene in the treated area to minimise the risk of infection
- Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours
- Avoid touching, massaging or rubbing the areas
- Agree the timing of any further filler with Dr Kamila after a review of your recovery and response to dissolving treatment
