Procedure Overview
After qualifying you for the procedure, the doctor will inject a carefully prepared solution of botulinum toxin into specific areas. For sensitive individuals, a topical numbing cream can be applied. Contraindications:

- Use of aminoglycoside antibiotics (e.g. gentamycin,tobramycin)

- Active cancer
- Neuromuscular disorders (e.g., Myasthenia Gravis, Lambert-Eaton Syndrome, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ALS;Multiple sclerosis MS )
- Local skin infections
- History of dysphagia ( difficulty swallowing) or respiratory disorders-especially with neurotoxin used in the neck or throat
Post-Treatment Recommendations – What to Avoid:
For the first 24 hours after the procedure:
- Avoid intense physical activity
- Avoid saunas and high temperatures
- Do not massage or press on treated areas to prevent the toxin from spreading
- Avoid alcohol
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
Treatment with Botulinum toxin should not be performed more often than once every 3 months. In practice, treatments performed 2-3 times a year provide optimal, lasting result.
